We've linked up with the Euro Tour this week as they head to Kenya for the first of two events, the Magical Kenya Open! Tron and Randy welcome Patrick Scoville to the show to discuss Kenya. Patrick is a Foreign Service officer currently stationed in Nairobi, Kenya. He's lived there for three years and brings a unique perspective on Kenya and sub-saharan Africa. Home game for the TrapDraw this week! Always nice to sleep in our own beds as the Players Championship takes place in Ponte Vedra. Tron and Randy break down Florida's First Coast, from Amelia Island down to St. Augustine, with the help of Lew Turner, First Coast News. Lew is a staple of the early morning news program in Jacksonville, and has lived here for more than a decade. We talk about his career, his sleep schedule, his thoughts on a bevy of national news anchors, and so much more. Enjoy!

The Vacation Doctor will see you now! It's Mr. Palmer's event at Bay Hill this week, meaning we're of course in Orlando, FL. Tron and Randy do their thing in the first part of the episode before welcoming in Diamond Resorts CEO, Michael Flaskey (@TheVacationDR on twitter). Mike talks about the genesis of his golf tournament, the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, how he ended up playing college baseball in Gaffney, SC, for a Hall-of-Fame manager, and his journey into the vacation business. Along the way we ask him about his home-city of Orlando, where he enjoys grabbing a bite to eat, and so much more. Enjoy!

Fun show this week! In the first half TC and Randy catch up on housekeeping items, including Kroger's very bad week and the United engine debacle, among other things. In the second half, Tron interviews special guest Ross (aka @man_integrated on Twitter, aka HUNTSMAN) about all things logistics across the world. Ross is a fascinating expert on global supply chains, speaking to some of the biggest challenges and obstacles present in the world right now. We promise you'll learn a thing or two. Tron and Randy are back to preview Pebble Beach! They do a bit a housekeeping (huge night in the NBA, Kings and Jazz especially!) before getting to their guest this week, Joann Dost. Joann is a longtime Monterey-area resident, former professional golfer, and one of the most prominent golf photographers in the world. She has great first-hand knowledge of the charms and intricacies of the Monterey Peninsula, as well as incredible stories about her first start in professional golf in Australia, moving out to the west coast, hanging with Ansel Adams, and so much more. Her passion and knowledge is unparalleled. Enjoy!

After a bit of house-cleaning in the beginning of the episode (major news in the Grocery Wars!), TC and Randy make the decision to eschew one desert in favor of another on this week's preview episode. For help, they bring in very special guest, Mr. Cody, to ask all about KSA. Cody is a man with a very particular set of skills who has spent quite a bit of time in the region and shares his experiences and insights about the people, the culture, the Royal Family, Vision 2030, and how average Westerners can approach the topic of Saudi Arabia in general. We should note, as part of preparation for this conversation, we all watched Bryan Fogel's new film, "The Dissident", which is available now on Apple TV. For anybody curious it's an enthralling examination of the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi in 2018. Enjoy!

We are a tad late this week, but appreciate your patience. As you'll hear, it was truly a fluid situation this week for our very special guest. That guest, Brad Milburn, is a San Diego resident and former Navy SEAL. The military brought him to San Diego several years ago so we pick his brain about living out on the West Coast. From beaches to tacos, and everything in-between, this is a really fun conversation. Also, of course we ask Brad about what it was like training to be a SEAL. Enjoy!

Randy is joined by Golf Channel's Jerry Foltz to discuss an array of topics around broadcasting women's golf. The two start out speaking specifically about last Sunday's NBC telecast of the LPGA Diamond Resorts Classic before branching into a wider discussion of women's golf TV rights and productions, as well as, the general state of the game. Poosh, besides being born and raised in Hawaii, is the lead singer of the band Iration. He talks about starting his music career, life on the road, and what it's like to be a rock star. Enjoy!

In all likelihood this is final TrapDraw of the year. Tron and Randy debrief on their trip to Houston, highlighted of course by their first-ever visit to a much-ballyhooed H.E.B.. They talk about highlights from their Houston experience, including donuts, food, and brushes with H-town luminaries. After that they "recap" the 2020 F1 season, before finally sharing a few parting thoughts on the preview episodes from this year, including favorite guests and what cities they're looking forward to learning and talking about in 2021. Big week! It's the last major of 2020 and the women are in Houston for the US Open. As they already did a Houston "preview", Tron and Randy venture just outside of town and land in Waco. Their guest is Professor Dan Walden of the Baylor University English Department. Dr. Dan is a great sport, talking about how he ended up teaching English, what his time in Waco has been like, and the experiences of going through a rather public, infamous scandal at his University. Turner Sports' Brian Anderson joins Randy to talk about the Match, what viewers can expect, what's new from previous iterations, and more. Additionally, Randy asks Brian about his experience in the NBA's bubble, the challenges of broadcasting live sports in a COVID-safe manner, and if Phil has a future in broadcasting. Enjoy!
