In Tourist Sauce Season 4, the No Laying Up crew takes their average golf game across the pond to experience the dunes, wind, and 'craic' on the West Coast of Ireland. They are joined by Author Tom Coyne, the authority on Irish Golf.

After much delay, Part I of our Ireland Recap is finally here. Doonbeg, Lahinch, Adare Manor, Ballybunion, Waterville, and Dooks make up this episode, and we break down what we loved and didn't love about each place. Tourist Sauce Season 4 will be out later this month, and look for part II of this podcast on Tuesday night.

244 - Ireland Trip, Part I

Part II of our Ireland Trip includes Tralee, Carne, County Sligo (Rosses Point), and Enniscrone. We make our way north and play Arnold Palmer's gem, then head much further north to get off the beaten track and tack advantage of some tremendous treks across Sligo. The dunes in this leg of the trip were some of the biggest we've ever seen, and the day we got at Carne was truly memorable. County Sligo (or Rosses Point) Golf Club was one of the most handsome stops of the trip. An elegant, sprawling Harry Colt design that feels almost more Scottish than Irish, it was Part 1 of the final day of our trip.

It's a tough place to get to but man is it worth it. Carne Golf Links was one of our favorite stops on the trip. A rugged, brawny links on the Mullet Peninsula, this Eddie Hackett design is one of Tom Coyne's favorites in the entire world.

They say the front nine was designed by Arnold (Mr.) Palmer and the back nine was designed by God. Today, we're at Tralee Golf Club to show why it's a very, very special place.

Waterville is one of the most charming, hospitable clubs in Southwest Ireland. It was a treat to fly the flag there for a day.

Dooks is an underrated gem of Western Ireland, an intimate, open piece of land that feels both Scottish and Tropical. That, plus some drunken dancing in Killarney , makes up Episode 5.

Tourist Sauce heads to "The Granddaddy of Irish Links," Ballybunion GC in County Kerry, where the guys try to keep it together while battling hurricane-force winds. Special thanks to Jacob Sjöman for the incredible drone footage, since all aircrafts were clearly grounded during our visit.
